Rai, Amsterdam (September 12, 2014) – The Telemetrics display at this year’s IBC highlights the company’s expertise in delivering innovative production systems. From curved camera tracks to motorized telescoping tripods to all-in-one robotic camera systems and more, Telemetrics addresses the demanding requirements of today’s broadcast and production industry with cost effective, high performance products. "Our product portfolio clearly positions Telemetrics for continued growth in this new generation of production studios where performance and cost efficiency are equally important criteria," said Anthony Cuomo, President, Telemetrics, Inc. "Our camera robotics systems offer the optimum in flexibility, functionality and value whether used in conventional studio installations, or for remote broadcasts or for webcasting applications."
Featured products include:
The Telemetrics RoboEye Integrated HD Camera/Robotic PTZF delivers HD imaging and high-end robotics performance in a fully integrated, cost-effective package. RoboEye features a Sony Exmor 2.18-megapixel CMOS image sensor, a 30X zoom lens, an S/N ratio of 50dB and a sensitivity level of F8 at 2,000 lux. Robo Eye provides native 1,920 x 1,080 HD-SDI and HDMI outputs, as well as SD composite video outputs in NTSC and PAL formats.
RoboEye’s advanced electronic interface includes a web-server enabling users to access video and control using a web-enabled device. Alternatively, the camera can be remotely controlled over an Ethernet connection or via RS-232C/422. A USB port is also included. The RoboEye camera integrates with Telemetrics’ comprehensive line of robotic camera systems including control panels/software, camera track and trolley systems, wall mount systems, elevating tripod systems, device servers and coax/fiber camera systems.
The new TG4 Teleglide Camera Track System offers the unique ability to conform in shape and scale to a variety of studio needs whether mounted on the floor or the ceiling. The extremely quiet system features a unique integrated cable management system enabling S curves on the floor, auto alignment, and stable support for elevating or lowering pan/tilt heads when outfitted with a Telemetrics Televator motorized pedestal, plus the ability to accommodate multiple trolleys on one track. Along with its low profile trolley, the system’s IP integration capability and availability of custom turn radiuses and track lengths allow the TG4 to be customized to meet virtually any studio application.
The TG4 can be integrated with IP networks, and is compatible with Telemetric’s comprehensive offering of studio control software systems and camera robotic devices. New to the lineup is the Telemetrics EP-6 Televator Elevating Pedestal. The remote controlled, motorized telescoping pedestal adds height extensions of 350mm, 700mm and 1000mm to the Telemetrics robotic pan/tilt product line. The EP-6 is designed for smooth operation and dynamic speed range in floor or ceiling mounted configurations and is compatible with studio dolly and trolley systems. It features an acceleration speed ranging from 0.2 to 1.25 inches/second (0.5-31.75mm/sec) and has a maximum load capacity of 132 pounds (60 kilograms.
Additional features include integrated cable management and a virtual studio interface option. The EP-6 has a retracted height of 14 inches (355.6mm) and has a hi-motion-range to retracted size ratio.
