Multiple Cable/Connector Configurations Available for Standard, HD/SDI SDI Cameras

Amsterdam, Netherlands (September 9, 2011) – Telemetrics Inc. is displaying the latest enhancements to its Coax Link Camera Control System here at IBC 2011.
The Coax/Fiber Link Camera Control System is a cost-efficient, high performance camera control solution for transmitting HD/SDI video over inexpensive cabling. Ideal for both permanently installed and mobile applications, Telemetrics’ Coax/Fiber Link System employs frequency division multiplexing to transmit multiple signals between the camera and base station for distances up to 3,000 feet and eliminates the need for video equalizers, frame synchronizers, intercom adapters, microphone phantom power and remote power supplies. HD/SDI video can be transmitted on standard coax, ST Fiber, Tactical Fiber or Hybrid Cables.

These new options offer durable low cost cable and connectors.

“Our new Coax Link System accommodates the latest cable and connector technology for durable, field repairable and cost effective long distance camera control. Our system will work on dual RG59 Coax, Fiber or single Hybrid cable,” said Anthony Cuomo, Vice President and General Manager, Telemetrics, Inc. “The customer has the choice and either one will allow field and studio cameras to be located at much greater distances from their control centers with greater freedom of movement to follow and capture the action. The system also eliminates the need for many costly peripherals and is extremely easy to set up and install”.
