As a long time member of Infocomm, we are delighted to see the new AudioVisual Systems Performance Verification Checklist. This new dealer tool is intended to provide end-users, consultants, and integrators with a comprehensive set of verification criteria to determine if a recommended AV system achieves the client’s objectives and if that system performs in accordance with the application design.

 

By using this checklist and establishing a set of commissioning guidelines, you and your clients can communicate more effectively about the expectations for completed system performance BEFORE installing. Overlooking or ignoring this small but critically important step can still result in a perfectly well-executed AV installation;but with disappointing results for end-users in the product or the experience.
