VidOvation and HauteSpot Networks today announced they will be demonstrating the innovative HauteSHOT microNVR wireless IP router and network video server for remote broadcasting applications at this year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas. Please visit booth C7248.
HauteSpot Networks Corporation of San Luis Obispo California announced last week as part of the ISC West 2011 show, the release and immediate availability of the innovative HauteSHOT microNVR and are now showing this amazing product at the NAB Show with the help of VidOvation (http://www.vidovation.com).
The HauteSHOT microNVR combines all of the functions needed for high quality remote/edge IP video recording and robust connectivity in one ultra-compact device. The HauteSHOT microNVR sets the standard for ultra-compact, feature rich, multi-function wireless IP video edge devices.
VidOvation, a provider of world class manufacturing, distribution, consulting and services for video communications equipment in the broadcast, government and professional audio-visual industries will be presenting the HauteSHOT microNVR to the Broadcasting industry at NAB 2011. VidOvation will have a live demonstration of the HauteSHOT microNVR running in their booth # C7248. For Electronic News Gathering (ENG), remote broadcasting, and “VJ” applications, the HauteSHOT microNVR is a light weight, compact, lower cost alternative to COFDM transmission systems and bulky video encoders and recorders.
The HauteSHOT microNVR measures only 4”x4”x1”, consumes only 8 watts, and operates on 12VDC making it one of the smallest IP recording devices on the market today. Its small size allows it to be placed almost anywhere, including on camera backs using “V” or “Gold” mounts, on vehicles, on street poles, along fence lines, or even in pockets.
It accepts video input via gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, or over 802.11b/g/n wireless or HauteSpot Networks proprietary TDMA-like protocol, TLP. It can also transmit it’s live or recorded video out using any of these same interfaces or also over 3G/4G or satellite networks. It can be used with many low cost H.264 ”1080p” IP cameras or even new H.264 “1080p” USB cameras to create a flexible, recorded or live Internet streaming platform.
Despite its amazingly small size, the HauteSHOT microNVR delivers a combination of full feature applications including complete IP routing for both wired and wireless networks using HauteSpot Networks high performance HauteRouterOS operating system and an advance platform for video management.
Standard configurations include a choice of either a complete MicroSoft Windows or Linux operating systems to host the video management system, a co-resident virtual machine running the HauteRouterOS routing system, a dual core, multi-threading processor running at 2GHz with 2GB of superfast DDR3 RAM, a HD capable DVI/HDMI video adapter with hardware H.264 acceleration, a MIMO wireless interface capable of up to 150Mbps throughput, and a choice of either 500GB moving HDD or 120GB solid state drive.
Optional support for up to 6 external USB hard disks for archiving, an additional high performance broadband wireless adapter, GPS location tracking, and 3G/4G wireless adapters.
The HauteSHOT microNVR has been tested with up to 16 2 mega pixel H.264 IP cameras running as both a recorder/server and a client display device.
VidOvation will be demonstrating the HauteSHOT microNVR at their booth # C7248 at the NAB Show. (http://expo.nabshow.com/mynabshow2011/public/Booth.aspx?BoothID=119584) .The HauteSHOT microNVR is available for delivery 2 weeks ARO.
