Lightware Showcases Corporate AV Solutions to Empower Business Collaboration as Research Reveals Meeting Trends

Designed for In-Person and Remote Meetings, Lightware Enables Corporates to Create Engaging, BYOM-compliant Spaces

May 23, 2024 -We showcased our comprehensive range of corporate AV solutions designed to empower business collaboration and provide seamless BYOM support. Offered as a comprehensive range of UCC-switchers, AV matrices and AV-over-IP extension solutions, Lightware corporate AV technologies are powered by advanced automation, enabling organisations to build advanced corporate environments.

Recent Lightware research illustrates the growing importance of corporate AV solutions, revealing that 84% of respondents work in office environments, while nearly three-quarters (74%) have both online and offline meetings. In addition, 86% of respondents have meetings where they have to either present, speak or lead, with 82% needing to set up/prepare a meeting room beforehand. In addition, the research also indicated that, on average, 27% of offline meetings are attended by up to four people, 53% by 5-9 people and 20% by 10 people or more.

Designed for a wide variety of meeting requirements and use cases, from huddle spaces and conference rooms to control rooms and training centres, Lightware solutions enable corporates to create BYOM-compliant venues that are equally engaging for both in-room and remote participants. Lightware also allows organisations to visualise real-time information with more clarity and control than ever before, while training centres can easily integrate interactive and immersive digital learning tools.

Market-leading Corporate AV Technologies

Lightware’s market-leading product set of TAURUS UCX universal switchers and TPX extension solutions offer unrivalled USB-C technology for each type of meeting space. The TAURUS product family also includes BYOM functionality, including host switching and the use of room peripherals for video conferencing on UCC platforms, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco Webex and others. With TAURUS, in-room and remote meeting participants have equal access to quality video, audio and data to enable effective collaboration.

Specifically designed for conference environments, Lightware’s MMX HDMI 1.4 and TPS extenders and switchers include the MX2 standalone matrix switcher family, which is widely acclaimed as the most versatile product line of its type. Key capabilities include uncompromising 4K60 signal management through HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectivity.

In addition, the MMX2 compact-size matrix switchers are designed to be the perfect fit for smaller collaboration spaces and huddle rooms. The MX2 and MX2M, featuring advanced EDID Management, zero latency and exclusive full end-to-end DisplayPort variants, ensure seamless connectivity.

Adding to its corporate AV solutions portfolio are the Lightware SDVoE-based TPX point-to-point and TPN point-to-multipoint extenders, which allow HDMI 2.0 signal management over a single CATx cable with HDCP 2.3 and Dolby Vision support. Also available are Lightware’s HDBaseT-based TPS point-to-point extenders and switchers, which allow HDMI 1.4 HDMI signal management over a single CAT cable with HDCP encryption and advanced EDID management.

In addition, Lightware offers several solutions to meet the signal transmission needs of the corporate environment on both 1G and 10G networks, including the option of creating a virtual matrix.

Vida Gergely

“Our own research has shown that three-quarters of office-based workers participate in both online and offline meetings, with over 80% needing to prepare meeting rooms in advance,” commented Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware Visual Engineering. “The problem many of these people encounter is that poor connectivity or an inability to use BYOM devices can seriously limit meeting effectiveness, with a knock-on effect on decision-making. Our corporate AV solutions are specifically designed to overcome these challenges and provide everyone with the collaborative environments they need.”
