Dec. 12, 2023 - At Biamp, we believe in the transformative power of AV technology; not just in professional settings but in nurturing talents and dreams. This year, we’re thrilled to announce our support for various nonprofit organizations, each dedicated to different facets of the AV world. From sound engineering to supporting girls participating in choir groups, our commitment is to enrich lives through the art of sound and vision.
We’re happy to highlight the nonprofits we partnered with and supported through the 2023 Biamp grants program:
My Voice Music – Nurturing Future Sound Engineers
We’re funding sound engineering classes for teens, recognizing that the future of sound technology rests in the hands of today’s youth. By providing these educational opportunities, we’re opening doors to careers in AV and beyond.
Arts for Learning – a Studio for Dreams
We’ve contributed to establishing a recording studio specifically for underprivileged teens. This space is more than just a studio; it’s a sanctuary where young talents can explore, create, and dream without boundaries.
Portland Symphonic Girls Choir – Voices of Tomorrow
In collaboration with the Portland Symphonic Girls Choir, we’re supporting girls with a passion for choir. This initiative is close to our hearts because it not only promotes musical talent, but also empowers young women through the arts.
Salem Art Association – Celebrating Salem’s Art Scene
Our involvement with the Salem Art Association is part of our commitment to supporting local art scenes. Salem, Oregon’s vibrant artist community contributes significantly to the city’s cultural fabric, and we’re excited to support their cause.
Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation – the Historic Hearing School Program
Finally, our ongoing support for the Hearing School program remains a cornerstone of our philanthropic efforts. This program has a long history of making a difference, and we’re honored to contribute to its legacy.
Looking Ahead
Stay tuned for our next grant program, which is set to open in early 2024 and promises to bring even more exciting projects and partnerships to the AV world.
