Equipment from Bosch, Dynacord, Electro-Voice and RTS is playing a key role at the recently completed Globe Life Field in Arlington – new home of the Texas Rangers and venue for the 2020 MLB World Series.

AV systems integration for the project was undertaken by Diversified in collaboration with consultants WJHW. Congratulations to all involved in the installation, which has been announced as a Systems Contractor News Install of the Year winner for 2020!

IPX series amplifiers from Dynacord power the ballpark’s main bowl loudspeaker systems, and are equipped with unique features for the highest audio quality, energy efficiency and system protection. These include Eco Rail technology, which can reduce power consumption by up to 50 percent; and Ghost Power, a problem-solving audio technology for power outages.

The installation features loudspeakers, amplifiers and DSP from multiple manufacturers, and is one of the first using validated third-party loudspeaker presets for Dynacord amps. Along with Dante protocol for audio transport, the amps are also running a plugin for audio routing via the Q-SYS platform, further adding to their flexibility. In addition to the IPX amps, the installation also includes security cameras from Bosch, EVID series loudspeakers from Electro-Voice, and IP intercoms from RTS.
