In the heart of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Bunzzz Sports Bar & Grill is open for business. Inside the brand-new restaurant, sports fans and families enjoy great food and unlimited access to their favorite sporting events. From the beginning, Bunzzz set out to raise the bar for sports bar entertainment. Crestron technology was key to providing their customers with the most memorable game day experience possible.

THE CHALLENGE:

The NCAA annual tournament is one of the most watched sporting events in the country with 68 teams playing in 63 games over a three-week period. The Bunzzz Bar & Grill chose this tournament as a benchmark for success, so it was imperative to have the right technology in place. If you can give customers the ultimate fan experience, they will come back for more.

THE SOLUTION:

With over 40 displays, Bunzzz Sports Bar & Grill was designed with the biggest sports fans in mind. Bunzzz also features an executive room for private parties. With ten inputs, two video walls, and two additional televisions, Bunzzz is able to provide each customer with their own custom experience. A Crestron TSW touch screen is also located within the space to ensure infinite customization at all times.

THE TECHNOLOGY:

Every morning, management plans out what content will be shown and where the content will be routed, to ensure each screen is playing the right game. Each display can be separated by quad boxes allowing a larger version of the content to be displayed on top and smaller versions on the bottom. This allows more games to be displayed at once making sure customers can keep up with all of their favorite teams at the same time.

DM NVX™ networking AV is used to route video throughout the entire facility, including the jaw dropping video chandelier that hangs over the bar in the center of the restaurant. “DM NVX not only powers the space, but also allows my team and I to easily select and display content at the drop of a dime,” explains Bernar Tallitsch, co-owner of Bunzzz Sports Bar & Grill.

To make things even easier, the DM NVX Director™ switching applicance was used to deploy the project, saving time and cutting labor. It is also currently utilized as a virtual switcher to route 4K signals throughout the space. And DM NVX is the only network AV solution with Pixel Perfect Processing, so every picture is perfect.

Since opening its doors, Bunzzz Sports Bar & Grill has welcomed thousands of people from all over the country. With dozens of displays, customers truly enjoy the ambiance and keep coming back for more.
