SENNHEISER NAMM BOOTH GOES WILD! MEET PETER FRAMPTON, CYPRESS HILL AND RICKY SKAGGS IN THE MIDST OF AWARD-WINNING WIRELESS AND WIRED MICROPHONES

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 2010: Microphone manufacturer Sennheiser (Booth #6579) will demonstrate its cutting-edge wireless systems with the help of dozens of hand-picked artists with far-ranging styles and instrumentation. Each act will take to the Sennheiser product demonstration stage for twenty-minute sets Thursday, January 14 through Sunday, January 17 using the latest Sennheiser 2000 and G3 Series wireless equipment, wired Neumann KMS 104 and 105 handhelds, and Sennheiser e 600, e 800 and e 900 Series live instrument mics. In addition, the Sennheiser booth will feature booth appearances by legendary musicians Peter Frampton, Ricky Skaggs and Cypress Hill.

On Thursday, January 14, American Idol's season 6 finalist, Brandon Rogers, will kick off the festivities at noon and then return for an afternoon reprise (4:00 p.m.). Classic rock artist Mitch Allen will bust out the best of the best (12:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.), with Connecticut native Amie Miriello filling in the 1:00 p.m. slot. The bluegrass, country, and comedic stylings of Raydon and the Backwash Band will be performing at 1:30 p.m. Back by popular demand, Nina Storey will deliver kitschy rock orchestrations with her hypnotizing, siren-like voice (3:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m.). Blues guitarist and singer Murali Coryell rounds out the bill for Thursday (4:30 p.m.).

The sets on Friday, January 15 will revolve around a 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

autograph session with legendary rocker Peter Frampton; set your calendar so as not to miss this unique opportunity to meet the "Face of 1968." The stunning three-part harmonies of King Washington will balance on either side (12:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.). Perennial NAMM favorite, powerhouse Debby Holiday will demonstrate the depth and transparent clarity of the Sennheiser vocal mics (12:30 p.m.), while Population Game will energize the booth with pop/rock underscored by funky, infectious dance grooves (1:00 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.). Led by singer/songwriter Mela Lee, Magnolia Memoir will deliver jazz sets (1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.). The last two artists on Friday will be the multi-talented singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist Amy Kuney (3:30 p.m.) and vocalist Cary Judd (5:00 p.m.).

On Saturday, January 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Sennheiser demo stage belongs to multi-platinum hip hop masters Cypress Hill, who will pose for photos, sign autographs, and demo a number of Sennheiser mics. Also on board will be Australian Chantelle Barry (12:00 p.m.), guitarist/lyricist Marcus Eaton (12:30 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.), and singer/songwriter Sara Haze (1:00 p.m.). The day will round out with another NAMM favorite, eclectic rock/folk stylist Raining Jane (1:30 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.), the experimental rock group The Material (3:00 p.m.), and singer/songwriter Matt Harke (4:30 p.m.).

On Sunday, January 17, 14-time Grammy winner, country and bluegrass virtuoso Ricky Skaggs takes command of the booth from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for performances, autographs, and photos. Other guests include Renée Wilson (12:00 p.m.), who magically blends folk, soul, jazz, rock, pop, and blues; the classical/contemporary Sonus Quartet (12:30 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.); Katie Costello, winner of the Sennheiser "My Song" contest (1:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.); and NAMM favorite Damon Cooper (1:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.). Closing out this year's NAMM demos will be Agent 22, a diverse world music group (4:30 p.m.).
