Optoma has something for every home theater customer at CES 2017

As more consumers continue to choose projection over displays, Optoma delivers 4K UHD resolution, laser light sources and ultra-short throw distances for home theater applications.

The company is also introducing an ultra-compact pico projector with LED illumination, an Android operating system and app store designed to make connecting and viewing content easy.

Optoma 4K UST

The Optoma 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) laser projector combines 4K imagery with style and function. The projector includes 4K UHD resolution, HDR10, wide color gamut, and an ultra short throw of just 0.18 for up to a 140-inch image size from just inches away.

"With an estimated MSRP of $19,999, it will lead the market in quality and affordability in the premium home theater space," says Optoma. This projector will be available in Q3 2017.

Optoma ZH55

The 1080p Optoma ZH55 high definition laser phosphor projector features 3,000 lumens of brightness, 20,000:1 contrast ratio, Rec. 709 color and super wide color gamut, and dual HDMI ports with MHL.

Described as installation-friendly, the ZH55 has a throw ratio of 1.06 along with a zoom of 1.36x. Availability and pricing to be confirmed at a later date.

Optoma UHD60

For home theater aficionados, the Optoma UHD60 projector delivers true 4K UHD.

This 3,840 x 2,160 resolution home cinema projector with vertical lens shift will be available for just $2,799 MSRP in Q2 2017.

Optoma IntelliGo

While the "Pico" market has been limited by lower brightness levels in the past, the Optoma IntelliGo delivers a sharp, bright image in a portable package.

Built with mainstream consumer needs in mind, an Android 4.4 OS with a customizable home screen and the AptoideTV app store with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora and more.

In addition, it is WiFi and Bluetooth compatible, has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, and offers 2D to 3D content conversion. It will be available in late Q1 2017 with an MSRP of $599.

Optoma HD29Darbee

The successor to one of the brand's most popular high definition home cinema projectors, the Optoma HD28DSE, the Optoma HD29Darbee features 3,000 lumens, 30,000:1 contrast ratio, and a DARBEE Visual Presence image enhancement technology.

"The integrated DARBEE Visual Presence image enhancement technology utilizes neuro-biologic algorithms to achieve unprecedented detail in skin tones, textures and reflective surfaces while delivering superior depth, object separation and automatic removal of unsightly artifacts," according to the company.

The projector's Rec.709 and sRGB color modes ensure brilliant and accurate representation of colors for PC, Mac and HDTV broadcast content and color spaces. It will be available Q1 for $699 MSRP.

GT1080Darbee

Ideal for gaming enthusiasts, the GT1080Darbee short throw projector is the successor to the popular GT1080, offering 1080p resolution, Rec. 709 color, dual HDMI ports, 3,000 lumens of brightness, and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio.
