Bogotá, Colombia – (November 4, 2014) – Christie®, a global leader in display and visualization solutions, will showcase a diverse range of innovative visual solutions for various applications atTecno Multimedia InfoComm Colombia, which will take place at the Centro de Exposiciones Corferias in Bogotá, November 6-7.
The Christie 6 meter by 7 meter space (booth No. 154) will include the Christie Phoenix®, Christie®Brio Team+, Christie GS Series projector, Christie® MicroTiles®, Christie Vive Audio, Christie Entero HB and Christie FHD651-T touch panels, among other products. The world’s most powerful video processor, the Christie Spyder X20, will manage all content.

Visitors to the Christie booth will have the possibility to view the new laser phosphor 1-chip DLP® Christie GS Series. Laser phosphor illumination eliminates the need for lamp and filter replacements, and provides an astonishing 20,000 hours of low-cost operation. Wireless connectivity, a small footprint, low-weight, quiet operation and a full suite of lenses makes the GS Series ideal for fixed installation applications, including boardrooms and conference rooms, government facilities, higher education, houses of worship and selected location-based entertainment venues such as casinos and live event theatres. Specifically on display will be theChristie DHD555-GS, a 5000 ANSI lumen, HD-resolution projector.
Christie will also showcase two blended Christie HD14K-M 3-chip DLP® projectors displaying content on a wide aspect ratio curved screen. Available with WXGA, SX+, HD and WUXGA (1920 by 1200) resolution and providing up to 10,000:1 contrast ratio, the industry-leading Christie M Series is equipped with Christie Twist™, which enables edge blending and warping for smooth, clean images from multiple projectors.
The booth will also feature the Christie DHD951-Q. Part of the Christie Q Series, the 1-chip DLP®projector is usable in either single or dual-lamp mode, and equipped with eClarity™ — advanced image processing that enhances images by providing greater control over image sharpness, gloss and shading. For rental staging applications including concerts, conventions and other events where visuals are a vital component, Q Series delivers outstanding blending and warping capabilities when using multiple projectors on flat, curved, hexagonal, or spherical surfaces.
